Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast items with precision and flair, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
- Manage food preparation processes efficiently, including chopping, assembling, and garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy breakfast hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supply needs.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Serve guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing excellent customer service when interacting directly with diners.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of breakfast menu items and meal presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with kitchen safety standards, food safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic team.
- Experience in serving guests directly is a plus, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
