Aspiration Creation Elevation empower disenfranchised young people across East-Central Bristol through engagement in arts activities, role-model guidance and inspirational experiences.
As our Services Co-ordinator, you will be tasked with upholding and enhancing our company’s services; through leading staff, quality assuring provisions, working with partners, and engaging beneficiaries. You must understand the importance of service delivery, stakeholder involvement, and growing the impact of our organisation; all while ensuring the awareness and profile of our company is upheld.
Through hard work, passion and dedication within your role, you can ensure we are effectively co-ordinating our company and its services, giving our provisions a platform to flourish.
Contract Info:
· 15 hours (2 days) per week
· £29,640.00pa pro rata // £15.20ph
· Permanent position (subject to probationary period)
· Varied work locations (Docklands Community Centre, The Pickle Factory, Hillfields Park Community Centre, home working and, occasionally, at designated off-site locations
Ideal Person Requirements:
· Excellent organisation skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent understanding of high-quality youth work standards and best practices
· Connection to, and understanding of, Bristol’s global majority communities
· Good knowledge and experience working in music and/or the arts
· A champion of care, kindness, equality, diversity and inclusion
· Prior experience working in Bristol’s youth and community sector
· Good grasp of effective people management
· Good understanding of technology, computing and social media platforms
· Good self-management skills
· Thrives when given responsibility and ownership
Job Tasks:
· Lead the implementation of our organisation’s services and offers
· Communicate with, and consult, beneficiaries, partners and wider stakeholders
· Develop the efficacy of our services through direct learning, data analysis, and strong planning and evaluation practices
· Support young people to access new opportunities
· Support sessional staff to be at their best
· Ensure our spaces, facilities and equipment are at their best
· Fundraise
· Uphold and raise our organisation’s high-quality standards and methods of best practices
· Attend scheduled strategy meetings with the ACE senior leadership team
· Attend scheduled supervision meetings with your Line Manager
