We are looking for childcare professional who:
· has proven experience in taking charge,
· is comfortable under stress and
· supports a consensual approach in leading a small team.
Being comfortable with a small degree of paperwork and competent in digital skills are desirable but not essential.
You will join a warm, welcoming and relaxed closely-knit team in a small informal, independent nursery in leafy, north Oxford with onsite parking and excellent bus connections. The nursery takes up to 30 children from 9 months to 5 years. The reduced nursery capacity means more quality time for each child.
The preferred candidate will:
- have at least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- Attentive to detail in ensuring rigorous compliance with the EYFS
- Possess good communication skills and empathy
- Work efficiently and effectively within a strong, experienced team
- Have an engaging and positive manner for interacting with parents
- Contribute new ideas and approaches for improving the nursery
Previous recent experience of the UK Early Years sector is essential for the role. All candidates must have a clean up-to-date DBS record.

Pay: £35,500.00-£36,500.00 per year
