Piper Horseboxes Ltd is a respected manufacturer specialising in high-quality, bespoke horseboxes. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced Coach Builder.
The Role
As a Coach Builder at Piper Horseboxes Ltd, you will be involved in the build and assembly of premium horseboxes, working to precise specifications and high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble horseboxes from chassis stage through to completion
- Fabricate and fit body panels, partitions, ramps, and internal structures
- Install flooring, wall linings, and structural components
- Work with a variety of materials including steel, aluminium, and wood
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
Requirements
- Previous experience as a coach builder, body builder, or similar role
- Strong fabrication and assembly skills
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and high standard of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding experience (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Working Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Saturday overtime available
