Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Floor Supervisor to lead and motivate our retail team on the sales floor. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a vibrant, organised shopping environment. As a key leader, you will manage team performance, coordinate merchandising efforts, and uphold high standards of communication and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate floor staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Allocate staff duties and monitor performance, attendance, and completion of daily tasks.
- Monitor staff activities to ensure shelves, product displays, and promotional areas are properly maintained.
- Oversee customer service operations and support staff in responding to customer enquiries, resolving complaints, and processing product requests.
- Report staff performance, sales floor issues, stock requirements, customer feedback, and operational matters to management.
- Assist management in improving sales floor procedures, staff productivity, customer service, and overall retail operations.
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a retail or sales environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in sales management, merchandising, and team management
- Prior experience in retail management or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
