Due to continued growth, we're looking for a hardworking and reliable subcontract Electrical Improver / Labourer to join our team, with the opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role You'll be working on a variety of high-end domestic and commercial projects across Norfolk and Suffolk, predominantly in the Norwich area.
The work is varied, consistent, and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working alongside experienced electricians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with electrical installations and maintenance.
- Carrying out first and second fix electrical work.
- Installing containment, wiring and accessories.
- Assisting with testing, fault finding and remedial works.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Working safely and in accordance with current BS 7671 regulations.
- Representing the company professionally on customers' premises.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an electrical improver or labourer.
- Own hand tools.
- Public liability insurance (if subcontracting).
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently when required and as part of a team.
