Job Overview
The Newcastle Street Rangers are a welcoming face on the city's streets, responding to 5,500 business interactions and more than 7,500 public interactions annually, as well as over 300 first aid incidents. In addition to their day-to-day duties, the Street Ranger team in particular supports other city centre stakeholders and businesses with a variety of services.
They support partners in dealing with low level crime and disorder and work closely as part of a crime reduction plan. It is such a wide ranging role, no day is ever the same!
We are looking for an SIA licensed individual to join our team as a Street Ranger!
- Good communication and customer service is essential
- Must be able to organise workload, carry out patrols and positively engage with the public and businesses.
- Must be able to provide a full 5 year checkable work/education history
Rate of pay is to demonstrate equivalence of working full time hours.
