Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

About Us
Training for Electricians is a City & Guilds approved training centre based in Warrington, dedicated to developing the next generation of electricians through practical, hands-on training.
We deliver Level 1 and Level 2 Electrical Installation qualifications and work closely with employers to support learners into employment, apprenticeships and further education. As a growing training provider, we are passionate about helping young people develop the skills, confidence and work ethic needed to succeed within the electrical industry.
Main Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Electrical Tutor / Assessor to join our team and support learners working towards careers within the electrical industry.
This role would suit an experienced electrician looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to pass on their knowledge to the next generation.
Teaching or assessing qualifications are desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate, including assessor and teaching qualifications where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical electrical training within our workshop environment
- Support learners working towards Level 1 and Level 2 Electrical Installation qualifications
- Demonstrate industry-standard electrical practices and safe working procedures
- Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions
- Share industry knowledge and real-world experience with learners
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and engagement
- Support learners in developing confidence, employability skills and professional behaviours
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and British Values
- Maintain a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
- Assist with assessments and learner evidence where required
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Relevant electrical qualifications
- Occupational competency within the electrical industry
- Minimum 3 years' industry experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting and developing young people
Desirable
- Teaching qualification
- Assessor qualification (CAVA/A1)
- Experience working with apprentices or young people
