Spray Painter
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Spray Painter to join our team!
The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, priming and spray painting HGV bodies, chassis, trailers and associated components to a high professional standard. You will need a good eye for detail and take pride in producing a quality finish.
Key Duties
- Carry out sanding, cleaning, masking and priming as required.
- Spray paint HGVs, trailers, chassis and components using professional spray equipment.
- Ensure finished work meets the required quality and finish standards.
- Maintain spray and painting equipment and keep the workshop clean and organised.
- Follow all health & safety procedures and wear the correct PPE.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Work as part of a team alongside fabricators, welders and other employees.
About You
Previous experience in spray painting is preferred.
Experience working with HGVs, trailers, commercial vehicles, heavy plant or metalwork would be an advantage.
Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Health and safety conscious.
Willing to undertake a varied and hands-on role within a busy refurbishment workshop.
Pay rates will be dependant on experience.
