Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Car Valeter/Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our vehicles while safely transporting cars to and from various locations. Your customer service skills will ensure a positive experience for clients, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is initially offered on a part time basis with the possibility of it becoming full time as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive vehicles to designated locations, including customer sites, repair shops, and storage areas
- Clean and valet vehicles to the highest standards, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior detailing
- Conduct basic janitorial tasks to keep the dealership premises clean and organized
- Assist with vehicle inspections and report any damages or issues observed during cleaning or transportation
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring vehicles are delivered promptly and in pristine condition
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and cleaning schedules
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations at all times
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will need to be an experienced driver with at least 5 years driving experience including having experience of driving on motorways, must hold a full UK driving licence, understand the importance of driving safely and economically, have no more than 3 penalty points and a have a reasonable sense of direction.
- Previous experience in vehicle cleaning is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina to handle cleaning tasks and vehicle movement throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
