The Role
Are you a detail-oriented leader with a passion for maintaining high standards? we are looking for a dedicated Evening Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in ensuring a pristine, safe, and hygienic learning environment for the students and staff of a school in the Worcester Park area.
As the supervisor, you will bridge the gap between management and the cleaning team, ensuring that every classroom, corridor, and hall is ready for the next school day.
15 hours per week for 43 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of cleaners, coordinating daily tasks and managing rotas.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet the school’s high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the team follows COSHH regulations and uses equipment safely and effectively.
- Stock Management: Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or ordering stock as required.
- Site Security: To secure lock-up of the school and set alarm system
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Experience: Prior experience in cleaning is essential; previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining a professional environment.
- Leadership Skills: The ability to motivate a team and handle challenges with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Reliability: Trustworthiness is key, as you will be responsible for the school site during evening hours.
- Requirements: An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
