Are you passionate about helping young players grow through football? Starters FA is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging coaches to join our community-driven academy across Herne Bay, Tenterden, and Canterbury.

Starters FA isn’t just a football provider — we’re a movement. Since 2021, we’ve built a positive, inclusive environment where children aged 4–16 can develop confidence, skills, and a lifelong love for the game. From first kicks to academy pathways, we celebrate every step.
The Role
As a Casual Football Coach, you’ll deliver fun, age-appropriate sessions that reflect our values of development, enjoyment, and belonging. You may coach across our Development Centres, 1-1 sessions, JPL teams, holiday camps, workshops, and school partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Lead or assist sessions for children aged 4–16
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
- Communicate clearly with players, parents, and fellow coaches
- Support individual and group development
- Represent Starters FA with pride and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- FA Level 1 (or willingness to work towards it)
- UEFA C and B desirable.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications
