Morphets Auctioneers & Valuers, Harrogate
We have a vacancy for a full time porter to work in our central Harrogate auction house. You will be involved in setting up the auctions which entails moving and lifting furniture, helping to unload and unpack deliveries and assisting the public during viewing times and with the collection of lots purchased. This is a physically demanding role and previous experience of warehousing/removals would be beneficial, though not essential as training will be given.
This role includes photographing the lots for the online platforms so you will need basic camera skills and an eye for display.
Basic hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime/Saturdays to meet business demands.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be punctual and reliable, enjoy being part of a small team and have a courteous and friendly manner.

Salary: £25,000 (if 21 or over)
