Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Joiner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing high-quality wooden and composite structures using a variety of tools and techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of bespoke oak structures and ensuring precision and durability in every project. Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom joinery pieces and structural components according to detailed specifications.
- Assemble wood, MDF, plywood, and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques.
- Operate saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment safely and efficiently to ensure accurate cuts and finishes.
- Install finished products on-site or in the workshop, including fitting furniture, cabinetry, or framing elements.
- Assist with roofing projects by constructing roof trusses or support structures as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or bulky materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, carpentry, joinery, or a similar workshop environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, hammers, saws, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and sanders.
- Knowledge of construction painting, experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required.

Pay: £25,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
