We're looking for a reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team in Peterborough.
This is a varied role where you'll primarily be driving a Class 1 vehicle, but when there isn't Class 1 work available. Some days may also involve driving a Class 2 vehicle—all at the same rate of pay.
What we offer
- £15.00 per hour, paid weekly
- £18.00 per hour overtime
- Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week
- Overtime available for the right candidate
- Days only – no nights out
- Full training provided for the recovery side of the role
- Ongoing training and development opportunities, including higher-level qualifications such as IVR training for committed team members
Essential requirements
- Full HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card
- In line with our motor insurance policy, applicants must be 25 years of age or over
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills
