StudyBox is a tuition centre, specialising in Maths, English and Science.
To be eligible for an interview you must:
- Be undertaking studies at A-Levels, Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent level OR a gap year
- Have achieved 7s and above in Maths, English and/or Science GCSE
- Live locally to our centre in South Croydon
- Have availability on multiple days during our opening hours: Monday to Thursday (12-3pm and 4-7pm), Friday (12-3pm and 4-6pm) and Saturday (9:30am-1:30pm)

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daytime Tutor to support students in achieving academic success across English, Maths and Science. In this role, you'll help us, alongside our team of tutors, to create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions during daytime and after-school hours
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
- Track student progress, identify learning goals, and provide regular feedback to students and parents
- Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages academic and personal development
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in any capacity
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum up to Key Stage 4
- Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference
