At Finlay Beverages, quality starts long before raw materials arrive on site. We're looking for a Raw Materials Quality Manager to lead our Quality at Source approach, ensuring the quality, safety and consistency of tea, coffee and other raw materials throughout our supply chain.

The Role
Reporting into the Quality team, you'll take ownership of raw material quality across our supplier base, ensuring robust quality standards are maintained from origin through to manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading supplier approval, qualification and audit programmes.
- Driving supplier quality improvement and food safety compliance.
- Managing supplier performance, risk assessments and corrective actions.
- Overseeing our tea and coffee tasting laboratories, sensory evaluation processes and tasting trials.
- Developing quality reporting, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Using quality data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting sourcing, procurement, technical and sustainability teams with supplier quality expertise.
- Championing a proactive Quality at Source philosophy across the business.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
You'll bring:
✔ Experience in quality management within food, beverage, agricultural, tea or coffee supply chains.
✔ Strong supplier quality assurance and supplier auditing experience.
✔ Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety systems and supplier approval processes.
✔ Experience analysing quality data and delivering actionable insights.
✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
✔ Degree qualification in a food, quality or agricultural-related discipline.
✔ Lead Auditor qualification (GFSI) and HACCP Level 3.
Experience within tea, coffee or other globally sourced commodities would be highly advantageous.
