The Endell Street service provides accommodation and support for 53 homeless men and women. We work alongside people at various stages of their recovery journey, supporting residents to move through the Camden Hostels Pathway stages towards greater independence. Endell Street isn’t just about providing a roof. Our vision is that everyone should have a decent place to live, something meaningful to do, satisfying relationships with other people and good mental and physical health to enjoy them.
We believe that every interaction matters so we are looking to recruit a staff member who understands psychologically informed environments and within that an appreciation of trauma and gender responsive interactions with women and men living in mixed gender settings.
About you
As the post-holder, you will be working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team of support staff, specialist staff and external partners and will be responsible for supporting a team of 21 project-based staff alongside the second deputy and the service manager.
To succeed in this role you will;

Have previous experience of leading teams working with people facing multiple disadvantage, especially those with complex needs including experience of VAWG, and repeating traumatic events.

Possess good interpersonal and listening skills and an enthusiasm for reflective practice.

Have good numeracy, IT and written communication skills; which will include report writing and producing support plans are also required.
