Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team as Summer Temp Crew Member within Cafe Blue, located at Sawley Marina, near Long Eaton. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Cafe. This is a great opportunity for those interested in both the Marina environment and and looking to work within the hospitality industry, within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and take customer orders and process payments accurately, in a friendly manner
- The preparation of both food and beverages, delivering these to the customers table.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all menu items are prepared to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure Health Safety standards in the kitchen and Cafe are followed.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring their satisfaction
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and enjoyable working environment.
- Assist with daily opening & closing procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience within a customer service role would be beneficial, especially within a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices & procedures.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work weekends.
- Reliable and punctual
