Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
- Take accurate food and drink orders while offering recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple tables simultaneously
- Outstanding guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience in upselling menu items is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
