Are you an experienced Composite Laminator looking to join a business that's investing in its future?
We're working with a growing advanced manufacturing company supplying high-performance composite components into demanding engineering sectors. Following continued growth and a strong order book, they're looking to expand their composites team with an experienced laminator who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
You'll be responsible for manufacturing composite components to exacting standards, working from engineering drawings and lay-up data to produce complex parts used in technically challenging applications. This is a hands-on role where quality, precision and attention to detail are essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Laminating composite components and tooling to engineering specifications
- Preparing tooling using sealers and release agents
- Manufacturing templates from lay-up data
- Preparing and incorporating inserts into laminates
- Safely de-moulding finished components
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards while working to production deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Composite Laminator
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with composite tooling and lay-up techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- A proactive team player with a positive attitude
