Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages using various brewing methods, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth workflow within the café environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and assisting with food prep as needed to ensure seamless service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or café setting, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Familiarity with EPOS systems for sales transactions and cash handling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and basic math for cash register operations.
- Experience with serving customers in retail or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members alike.
