Surface Repair Technician
Join the Growing Midlands Team at LS Surface Repairs
Due to continued growth and success across the UK, LS Surface Repairs is looking to expand its Midlands team. We have an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in surface repairs or French polishing to join our established business.
As a Surface Repair Technician, you'll work on a variety of projects across commercial developments, public sector buildings, hotels and leisure facilities, retail and business premises, and residential properties. Your role will involve repairing damaged surfaces to a high standard, both internally and externally.
About You
We're particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in the surface repair industry. However, experience in related finishing trades will also be considered.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience with polyurethane and water-based spray finishes
- Knowledge of wood finishing, including staining and waxing
- Experience repairing laminate, powder-coated, and PVC surfaces
- Strong colour-matching skills and attention to detail
- A valid CSCS Card
- The ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and contribute effectively as part of a team
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated, reliable, and professional
- Excellent timekeeping and a positive work ethic
- Willingness to work additional hours when required
- Strong communication skills
