Orford Hill Dental Practice is looking for a motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a busy 3-surgery dental practice offering a wide range of treatments, giving you an excellent opportunity to learn, develop and gain hands-on experience in a professional clinical environment.
We are proud to be a practice that invests in our team. We have successfully supported other team members through their dental nursing courses and understand the importance of patience, guidance and encouragement throughout your training.
About the role:
As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will work alongside our experienced dentists, therapists and nurses, supporting with the smooth running of the surgeries and helping provide excellent care to our patients.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting clinicians during dental treatments
- Preparing and maintaining the surgery
- Cleaning and sterilising instruments
- Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable
- Maintaining high standards of infection control
- Learning dental charting, record keeping and clinical procedures
- Working as part of a friendly and professional team
This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in healthcare. No previous dental experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.
