Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team in sunny Portobello. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take drink orders efficiently.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the bar till effectively using basic math skills.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any inventory shortages.
- Reporting to Bar Manager
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence is crucial.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
