Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow
- Lead and motivate team members, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and support staff, to deliver top-quality service
- Oversee food preparation and food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with cooking and food safety practices to maintain high-quality culinary standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food at all times
- Manage guest interactions by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction
- Coordinate with the team to ensure efficient serving, bar service, and timely delivery of orders
- Assist in training new staff members on hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to meet health regulations
- Support inventory management for food supplies and kitchen equipment maintenance
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and serving roles
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for culinary operations
- Experience working in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with hospitality principles, including customer service excellence and team management skills
- Prior experience with kitchen operations, food production, or culinary tasks is highly desirable
