We have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a state of the art first opinion and referral RCVS accredited equine hospital based near Tewkesbury. As a keen team player, you will be working within our experienced veterinary and support staff teams to deliver the best care and service to our patients and clients. We cover a wide variety of patients from high-level competition horses to much loved family pets.
The successful candidate must be able to work well as an individual and as part of a multifaceted team. Some experience of veterinary procedures and practice are of interest but not essential.
The role will include all aspects of in-patient husbandry and daily care. It will also involve the handling and reassurance of patients throughout lameness investigations and other veterinary procedures.
The essential skills for a successful candidate are:

Weekend and bank holiday work is required on a rota basis. Full time hours of work are 5 days a week with 8-hour days with an hour’s unpaid lunch. Days vary from 7.30am-4.30pm or 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri. There is a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with time off in lieu allocated to the Mon/Tue. We are open to part-time options that still enable the rota and weekend cover to be achieved and would be happy to discuss this with potential candidates.
