Job Title: Static Security Guard
Location: NP25/NP16
Reports to: Security Supervisor / Site Manager
Job Type: 07:00-19:00hrs Saturday, Sunday plus Bank Holidays
Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Static Security Guard to provide on-site protection for people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter unlawful behaviour, monitor premises, and respond to incidents according to site procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a static security presence at the designated location.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems where applicable.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises (internal and external).
- Verify the identity of visitors, employees, and contractors entering the site.
- Ensure that all security protocols are followed.
- Write incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
- Liaise with emergency services if required.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License (SIA)
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to remain alert for long periods.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations calmly.
Working Conditions:
- Shift work, Weekends, Bank Holidays and provide cover for Annual Leave.
- May be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
