Weekend Receptionist or Therapist
Elements Boutique Spa, part of the Windmill Retreat Estate in the Somerset Levels, is looking for a Weekend Receptionist or therapist. Our award-winning spa combines luxury, nature and well-being for guests and team alike. This is a great role if you enjoy a calm, friendly working environment with strong customer service at its heart.
We're looking for a Weekend Receptionist or Therapist to work every other Saturday and Sunday. Overtime often available. Dual role is always available for anyone who is interested in both.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome clients with a professional, friendly and attentive manner
- Manage Lodge & Suite check-in and check-out
- Provide information on spa treatments, facilities and products
- Anticipate guest needs so every experience exceeds expectations
Reception & Administration
- Handle phone calls, emails and online enquiries promptly
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Maintain accurate client records and booking systems
- Process payments, gift vouchers and retail transactions
- Keep reception and spa areas clean, calm and well-presented
- Liaise with therapists and management for smooth daily operations
- Pass on guest requests, preferences or special requirements
Therapy
- Deliver high-quality treatments
- Provide warm, professional guest care throughout their visit
- Recommend treatments, products and experiences
- Help maintain our beautiful spa environment
- Must have level 2 & 3 beauty NVQ or equivalent.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, polished appearance and calm demeanour
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
- Confident using computer booking systems
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a spa, salon, hotel or luxury hospitality setting desirable
- Knowledge of spa treatments and terminology a bonus
- Must be available every other Saturday and Sunday
