Overview
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Barback to support our busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent guest experience and maintaining a smooth-running bar operation. Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glasses, garnishes, and beverages to ensure efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Prepare basic food items or garnishes as required for drink presentation or guests orders.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to management promptly.
- Support with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service hours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide friendly assistance to guests, ensuring they have a positive experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hygiene and guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the venue’s operating hours.
