Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide friendly, efficient service
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using basic math skills for quick checkouts
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout your shift
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role, with a passion for coffee and customer service
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers warmly and professionally
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining independence when needed
Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
