DAMM Environmental is looking to recruit Jetting Operatives to support our drainage maintenance, cleaning, and emergency response operations across Scotland. This is a hands-on operational role focused on high-pressure water jetting works to maintain and restore drainage systems safely and effectively.
Based in our own building in Hillington, Glasgow, DAMM Environmental now employs over one hundred people and runs a high-tech fleet of over 50 vehicles. With repeat contracts from both Local Authorities and Blue Chip firms, we have quickly grown to become a company with a multi-million pound turnover, but our roots have not changed.

The Role
The Drainage Jetting Operative will be responsible for carrying out high-pressure water jetting works to clear blockages, clean drainage systems, and support reactive and planned maintenance works across a variety of sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-pressure water jetting to clear and maintain foul and surface water drainage systems
- Assist with locating and clearing blockages, silt, debris, grease, and other obstructions
- Work in accordance with DAMM Environmental procedures, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards
- Support emergency response works, including flooding and drainage failures
- Assist Jet Vac and CCTV teams on site where required
- Carry out basic equipment checks and routine maintenance of jetting equipment
- Complete daily apps-based documentation, including job sheets and site records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment on site
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in drainage jetting or drainage operations preferred
- Knowledge of drainage systems and safe working practices
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to sites
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor and site-based environments
