We are seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive Support Worker to assist a 26-year-old young man on the autism spectrum. You will help him live a fulfilling life while managing his daily care, anxieties and routines.
You will be part of a small team providing essential 24-hour, 7-day support to enable this young man to live in his home.
Key Responsibilities
- Respect and support his OCD tendencies and daily structures.
- Provide reassurance during periods of high anxiety.
- Support him on regular walks and trips out.
About You
- Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or managing behaviour which can be challenging at times.
- PVG scheme membership for regulated work with adults is required.
- This role can be Part-Time to suit, or Full-Time within a 24/7 support plan.
- You can stay grounded when situations become stressful or overwhelming.
Pay: £16.88 per hour
