We are looking for a gardener to join our small, friendly team in this internationally renowned organic garden. Some experience would be beneficial but not vital, as we will train each employee in the required tasks. We will be looking for someone who has an enthusiasm to do well and a keenness to learn. The work our gardeners carry out include: planting, mowing, weeding, hedge trimming, pruning, hard landscaping, etc.
Barnsdale Gardens is a visitor attraction so the ability to interact with visitors, when required, is necessary. We are open every day of the week, so there will be some weekend work on a rota basis.
Although the position is listed as full-time we are also open to taking someone just for the summer season.
