JOB TITLE Production Operative
About the role:
As our production operative you will support the efficient manufacture of high-quality blinds by completing assigned production tasks safely, accurately and in line with company procedures. The role involves working across production lines, aluminium processing and dispatch to help the team achieve quality, productivity and on-time delivery targets.
What we will ask of you:
· Carryout assigned duties in line with the company’s Operational Procedures, standard work instructions and health and safety requirements.
· Ensure products are being manufactured to a high standard and quality is constantly maintained.
· Work as a member of the wider production team to ensure efficiency, quality and on time dispatch targets are being met.
· Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and/or area.
· The ability to read and understand Standard Work Instructions in the form of text and pictures.
· Operate any machinery/power tools in a safe and responsible manner.
· Carryout basic quality checks.
· Report equipment faults to your designated supervisor.
· Report for work on time and work to the very best of your ability when on site
· You will be required to work in a range of departments including Production Lines, Aluminium Processing and Dispatch.
· Ability to stand for extended periods
What we are looking for:
Essential
Day Shift
· Be available to work:
Monday and Tuesday 6.45am-4.45pm
Wednesday & Thursday 7.45am-4.45pm
Friday 7am-1pm.
Afternoon Shift
· Be available to work:
· Monday to Thursday 3pm to 12 midnight
· Friday 1pm to 8.45pm. (Shift Allowance paid at 15%)
Desirable
· Previous manufacturing production experience

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
