The Role
Your prime job will be to work in a team assembling fabricated beavertail truck bodies on their return from paint. This involves fitting the deck, which may be timber, galvanized steel mesh or GRP mesh grating. It would also involve fitting Hi-Viz boards, safety and conspicuity markings, and handrail accessories.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have a good personal responsibility and awareness of safe working practices.
- Must have a good knowledge of basic hand and power tools related to trade to ensure correct equipment is used for each individual task.
- Must be a reliable timekeeper.
- Humble – Knows how best to serve the team, emphasises, and promotes the team over self.
- Hungry – Strives to continue to learn, succeed and serve the company, self-motivated and diligent.
- Smart – Has strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
Pay Rate and Benefits:
- £13.25 per hour starting rate.
- Rising to £13.75 on completion of probation period.
- Company provided lunch Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a wide range of hot and cold options.
- Weekly bonus scheme
- 38 hour week. Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 11am.
- Extra 3 days discretionary holiday to cover Christmas break.
