Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Alloy Wheel Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and refurbishing wheels to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in the alloy wheel repair/refurbishment industry and is confident carrying out the complete process from start to finish
THE ROLE.
You’ll ideally be able to carry out the full alloy wheel refurbishment process, including:
- Wheel preparation and stripping
- Sanding and preparation
- Priming and painting
- Powder coating
- Diamond-cut wheel preparation/finishing
- Lacquering and finishing
- Tyre removal and fitting
- Wheel balancing
- Quality control and final inspection
- Ensure all refurbishment processes adhere to safety standards and quality guidelines
- Assist with heavy lifting of wheels and related components safely using proper techniques and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating progress and addressing any concerns or questions from clients
Training will be provided on our specific processes, equipment and standards.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in the alloy wheel industry is essential
- Ideally experienced across the full refurbishment process
- High attention to detail
- Pride in your workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence preferred
SALARY
£32,000 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience, skills and suitability for the role.
HOURS
Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm
There will also be an expectation to be flexible to work Saturdays when required, depending on workload and business needs.
Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
