Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Vehicle Rental assistant to join our small team in Tonbridge ! In this role, you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for prospective customers and existing clients, helping them find the perfect vehicle rental solutions. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure a seamless experience for all clients. This position offers an exciting and varied opportunity to develop your customer service expertise while contributing to a lively, fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and assist prospective customers with rental enquiries in person, over the phone, or via email, providing clear and detailed information about available properties.
- Answering questions to help clients make informed decisions.
- Manage our rental bookings by collecting necessary documentation, entering data accurately into our systems, and maintaining organised records.
- Work in coordination with other team members to ensure our vehicles are cleaned , well-maintained and ready for the next client .
- Assist with the movement of cars and vans between our premises, demonstrating calm & confident driving etiquette and skills.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating client data and managing correspondence efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience is preferred, especially in the motor industry environments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills in English would be an advantage.
- Full UK driving licence with only minor endorsements, if any
- Basic proficiency in technology including Microsoft Word and Excel for document creation, data management, and reporting purposes.
- Experience with phone etiquette and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about commercial vehicle operations
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude at all times.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
