About the Role
Heathside Holidays is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Holiday Park Assistant to join our team at our beautiful Suffolk holiday park.
This is a varied role involving guest services, administration, social media, sales support and general day-to-day park duties. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, providing excellent customer service and being part of a small, friendly team.
The successful candidate will be confident dealing with guests, have good communication skills and be comfortable using computers and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests on arrival and providing a friendly, professional service
- Assisting guests with enquiries and ensuring they have an enjoyable stay
- Supporting bookings, administration and general office duties
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Updating social media pages with news, events and park updates
- Creating engaging content to promote the park and local area
- Supporting sales enquiries and helping customers with holiday accommodation options
- Assisting with caravan park operations, including handing out gas bottles and stock control
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming environment for guests
- Carrying out general tasks to support the smooth running of the park
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous customer service, sales or administration experience
- Is confident speaking with customers face-to-face, over the phone and online
- Has experience using social media for business purposes
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Has a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
- Is comfortable with a hands-on role involving some outdoor duties
- Has good computer skills and attention to detail
Previous experience within tourism, hospitality, holiday parks or sales would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
