We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Basketball After School Club Lead & Lunchtime Sports Provision Leadto deliver high-quality basketball coaching and engaging lunchtime activities within primary schools. The successful candidate will have a passion for basketball and youth sport, with the ability to motivate children of all abilities through fun, inclusive, and progressive coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver engaging basketball coaching sessions for after-school clubs, tailored to a range of ages and abilities.
-Organise and lead structured lunchtime sports provision, encouraging participation and positive play.
-Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where every child feels valued and confident to participate.
-Develop children's basketball skills while promoting teamwork, respect, resilience, and sportsmanship.
-Monitor participants' progress and provide positive, constructive feedback.
-Communicate professionally with school staff and represent Prestige Sporting Programmes to the highest standard.
-Prepare, maintain, and safely store all sports equipment before and after each session.
-Ensure all sessions are delivered in accordance with safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
-Act as a positive role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism, and excellent behaviour at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Experience coaching basketball or other team sports.
-Previous experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or educational environment.
-Strong communication and organisational skills.
-The ability to plan engaging, inclusive sessions for children of varying abilities.
-A positive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to coaching.
-A commitment to promoting participation, enjoyment, and personal development through sport.
-Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety best practice (desirable).
-A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Additional Opportunities:
Based on your qualifications, experience, and availability, there may be opportunities to increase your working hours beyond your after-school basketball club. Successful candidates may also be offered additional lunchtime sports provision, PE support within schools, and school holiday camp coaching hours, providing further opportunities to develop your coaching experience and increase your earning potential.
