The Manager of this very popular coastal town hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef with the running of the kitchen. The property offers all day dining with a breakfast, lunch and evening meal menu, where all dishes are made on site using quality locally sourced seasonal produce cooked to high standards. This hotel is part of a successful group so it is a great opportunity to learn new skills and be able to progress within the company. The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef who is capable of running the kitchen and who can work well under pressure.
Requirements:
This role of Sous Chef would suit a driven Sous Chef who has previous experience working in fast paced fresh food kitchens. Knowledge of kitchen paperwork is essential to assist the Head Chef to comply with kitchen legislation. At least 2 years experience in a similar role. Minimum Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
