Part-Time Painter (Semi-Retired/Retired Welcome)
We are looking for a reliable and experienced painter to help maintain our display of high-quality wooden garden buildings at our display site in Orton Grange, Carlisle.
This role is ideal for someone who is semi-retired or retired and enjoys working outdoors while taking pride in producing a high-quality finish.
Duties include:
- Sanding and preparing timber buildings for painting.
- Applying base coats and high-quality topcoats.
- Maintaining the appearance of our display buildings.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
Requirements:
- Previous painting and decorating experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Own transport is essential due to our location.
Hours:
- 3–4 days per week (flexible).
- 10:00am – 5:00pm.
- Approximately 18–24 hours per week.
Pay:
£12.71 per hour (National Living Wage).

Orton Grange, Carlisle.
