About us
We're looking for a Grooming Assistant with a passion for animals and a creative mind. The ideal candidate for our grooming salon has previous experience working with dogs and prioritises client service, human-animal communication and the proper care of animals. The Grooming Assistant will be responsible for performing tasks such as bathing and drying animals and assisting with grooming services. An enthusiastic client-service oriented individual who loves dogs is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Be able to operate the small dog grooming room.
- Be able to clean and disinfect equipment.
- Be able to brush, bathe, and clip dogs; know appropriate techniques for different breeds.
- Be able to separate cleaning products from operating room supplies.
- Be able to communicate with clients; be friendly, courteous, and attentive.
- Be able to work as a team member.
In a nutshell you will be bathing & drying dogs all day.
Ideally looking for someone who has worked as an assistant or a groomer before & isn’t afraid of some hard work and lifting.
Saturdays are required to be worked.
