Overview
We’re seeking an experienced, self-directed Leadership Development Consultant to work in an independent contractor capacity within the personal growth and leadership development sector.
This is a performance-based position, ideal for a senior professional with 7+ years of experience who thrives in a consultative, high-integrity environment.
The initial focus is relationship-led client discovery and professional engagement, with structured training and mentoring becoming part of the role as client relationships develop.

What you’ll do
- Strategic Engagement: Develop and manage professional engagement activity through high-level networking, digital platforms and relationship-led communication.
- Consultative Discovery: Conduct meaningful discovery conversations via Zoom or Google Meet to identify alignment and support informed decision-making.
- Professional Positioning: Position yourself as a credible voice in the personal growth and leadership development space, with assets and frameworks provided.
- Client Journey Management: Manage the end-to-end client journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment, with care, professionalism and accurate CRM records.
- Ongoing Development: Engage in structured onboarding, leadership development resources and ongoing mentorship to stay current with our frameworks.
- Training and Mentoring: As client relationships develop, participate in structured training and mentoring activity connected to the role.
- Integrity of Fit: Represent the work with professionalism, including qualifying fit and saying “no” when alignment is not present.
Professional background required
- 7+ years’ experience in leadership development, learning and development, people development, coaching, consulting, strategic relationships, senior stakeholder engagement or a related client-facing field.
- Relationship-led approach: A human-first style with the ability to provide clear information, assess fit and support thoughtful decision-making.
- Remote capability: High level of independence and confidence managing your own activity, schedule and follow-up in a remote environment.
- Executive communication: Confidence conducting professional conversations with experienced clients.
- Commercial maturity: Sound judgement, personal accountability and comfort working in an independent contractor capacity.
Work structure and compensation
- Operating model: Remote-first independent contractor role with autonomy over your schedule, activity and client engagement.
- Compensation: This is an independent contractor role. Compensation is performance-based and linked to completed client outcomes / enrolments.
- Indicative compensation: Compensation varies by performance. For active consultants, OTE may range from £7,500–£15,000 per month. This is not guaranteed and there is no fixed salary.
- Support: Full access to onboarding, proven frameworks, CRM systems, remote support and a global professional community.
