Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including early mornings or late afternoons as required
