About the Role
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Worker/SENDCO to join our nurturing team in a full-time role, focusing on children with additional needs in our early years setting. As the keyworker for our children with special educational needs (SEN), you will play a vital role in completing assessments, ensuring that all practitioners understand their responsibilities and the setting's approach to identifying and meeting SEN. Your ability to foster close communication with parents will be essential, as their insights will significantly inform the actions taken by our setting. You will be responsible for liaising with external professionals and agencies to ensure our children receive the best support possible.

Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a SENDCO or Inclusion Worker in a childcare setting.
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and special educational needs legislation.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with parents, children, and external professionals.
- Current DBS check and knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Paediatric First Aid certification is desirable.
