We are a much-loved, community-focused public house in the town of Amble, with comfortable accommodation above. We pride ourselves on a warm welcome, great atmosphere, and true Northumbrian hospitality — and we’re looking for two key people to help drive us forward.
Position 1 — Bar Staff
Flexible, friendly and keen to be part of our community
We’re seeking reliable, enthusiastic people to join our bar team. You’ll deliver excellent service, serve drinks, and keep our bar areas clean and welcoming. A flexible approach to shifts is essential, including evenings and weekends.
From time to time you’ll also greet guests and help with check-ins for our accommodation — our rooms are largely self-service, so this is only occasional.
What we’re looking for:
- ✅ Great people skills and a warm, approachable manner
- ✅ Willingness to work a flexible rota covering days, evenings and weekends
- ✅ Previous bar experience preferred but not essential — the right attitude matters most
- ✅ Honest, reliable and proud of the place you work
