Job Title: Casual Conference and Banqueting Assistant
Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS
Reports to: Food & Beverage Director
Shifts: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - mixed shift times for the Summer
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Casual Conference and Banqueting Assistant for the Summer who will work Friday-Sunday each week. This person will play a crucial role in providing a high level of service at weddings and various other events, ensuring our guests receive the highest standard of hospitality.
Please note that applicants must be 18 or over due to the handling of alcohol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage warmly with guests, providing exceptional service
- Serve food and drinks to guests
- Set up dining spaces for various services, including weddings and afternoon teas
- Clear dining spaces promptly and efficiently after service
Candidate Profile:
- Proven customer service skills
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Previous experience in banqueting and/or catering is essential (Minimum of 3 years)
- Professional and hygienic personal presentation.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with your own vehicle to commute as we do not have public transport links
