Duties as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
- Conducting vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard
- Communicating effectively with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
- Providing expert technical opinions directly to customers when required
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology and repair procedures
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service
- Maintaining high standards of workshop cleanliness and organisation
- Keeping accurate and thorough records of repairs and services
Requirements:
- Previous experience within automotive repair and diagnostics
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent (Level 2 qualification considered under special circumstances)
- Valid full UK driving licence
- Current MOT tester licence
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable attitude
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
