Night Cleaner & Laundry Operative

Approx 12 months fixed term contract (Maternity Cover)
£17.01 per hour & A share of Gratuities
4 nights on 4 nights off, weekend availability required
11pm - 6:30am
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner & Laundry Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings throughout the Spa, Gym, Hotel and Public areas, ensuring that all areas are tidy, presentable, and safe for use.
The Role:
- To continue to run the Laundry, washing and drying to ensure all washing is completed ready for the next day.
- To fold any Spa/Hotel laundry stock ready for the next day.
- Preparing towelling stock for the Spa and Spa Therapist Team ready for the next day.
- Delivering towelling stock (on golf buggy) to the relevant departments.
- To clean the Grain Store Café, Holistic Studio, Meeting Room and Café toilets ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout.
- To clean the holistic studio equipment including yoga mats and yoga blocks.
- Be aware of the Hotel's Emergency plans, Fire Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations
- To attend all fire, first aid and health safety training to be able to provide support to the Night Porter during an emergency in the night.
Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
